If you want to do some good while you are stitching these days, why not consider making some Hearts for Hospice? This wonderful project started in Kansas City and places hand-stitched hearts on the doors of patients who have recently passed away.
Melita Glavin has made several of these and showcases them and gives us plenty of resources for them in this blog post.
I have two hearts to finish, maybe even next week, and one on stretcher bars ready to go. I am also doing ANG’s Hearts of Gold correspondence course and I’m plnning on using stash threads and donating many of these to the nation-wide project.
