Maybe it’s that I’m not a very blingy sort of person. But, for whatever reason, embellishments and I don’t get on well in needlepoint.
That’s the one area where I know I could do better but need to practice. I’ve gotten to the point where I will not avoid putting buttons on a piece and I’ll happily add brads to just about anything.
But I struggle, particularly with beads. I keep trying, I worked with Tila beads and many sequins this year and I think I’m conquering them.
Next on the list is triangular beads and Sparkles ribbon. Then I’m going to move to flatter beads and fabric on canvas.
Maybe I’ll conquer this yet!
