Sandy Grossman-Morris has a delightful line of needlepoint notecards, one of which is pictured above. Each one has a stitch done on canvas with a needle on the front. The directions for the stitch are on the back, along with some stitching notes. They come in packages of siz notecards with blank insides.
There are many different cards available with messages so appropriate to stitchers. This one had “Guess you’re stuck begin nice to me for the rest of your life.” Every one of them is delightful. While most of them have sayings which will bring a smile to stitching friends’ faces, some, like “A Grandmother’s Needlepoint has love in every stitch” make great accompaniments to stitched gifts.
The stitches and colors on the cards are random, so not every card will have the same stitch. They are packaged in sealed bags with an envelope, so you can buy the individually.
Look for them at your local needlework shop.

Sandy sells them on her website. I also saw them recently at Needlepoint Tool Time, an excellent Internet-only shop.
I have also seen the in the past at Needlepoint, Inc. in San Francisco.
