Many of you have been followed my various projects using brads, which I love for needlepoint, have asked about finding brads for your needlepoint.
I love this totally cool site for eyelets and brads, Eyelet Outlet. Just looking at the home page, I saw gnomes, two different cardinals, adorable polar bears, and your more normal shapes and colors. I have many wonderful brads in my collection because of them. You’ll find a much larger selection here than in any store.
I love that brads can be used to add a completely different, non-stitched texture to my projects. Besides the lights on Senor Rooster’s necklace, I have used cherry brads on sundaes, seashells to decorate a beach cupcake, and round brads to be candies. I can’t resist them!
The category listings are detailed and they not only have bards and eyelets, but they also carry printed ribbons. Whenever I visit them, I check the many sale and outlet pages to find more great items.
I keep thinking of cool ways to use these little doodads.
