This week we finish up the last of the pumpkins, the copper one. This color can be hard to match. The metallic (Kreinik 152V) is a close match. The floss, Pumpkin Pie from Gentle Art, matches with the lightest shade.
The pumpkin is stitched in Corner Quads.
As you can see this damask has a corner. Groups of four stitches move out from the corners. Start this pattern with a corner, somewhere near the bottom right of the pumpkin. You will not have a corner on every row.
All the rows of this stitch are the same. Rows are spaced one thread apart.
Next week, we finish up the SAL with stitches for the stems, background and borders.
