
Because of my sore wrist I have to limit my stitching time, so I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked last week. But I did make a start on the first Thank You Needlepoint. I have part of the gold done and I stitched one of the letters to test the thread color, a Soft Sheen FyreWerks (more about this thread in tomorrow’s article). I think it looks great.
So I won’t have shadows on the front of the piece I need to stitch the background first. I’d love ideas (add to comments). In the meantime my goal for today is to finish the borders.
