Lycette has a new collaboration with the Nantucket boutique Alice Walk. The designs feature a lovely blue color scheme and include geometrics and sayings. Tres Chic has a new venture with Lisa Krause (of Deux Bijoux Bijoux). The seven designs in the Flying Saucy Collection feature sassy ladies as the frames with a small area for the included needlepoint canvas designed to go with it. The frames are self-finishing. Atlantic Blue has two new Mah Jong canvases, a round and a key fob in pink and green. She also has three “court closed, bar open” canvases — for golf, pickleball, and tennis.
Alison Ivy has new mezuzah canvases in several geometric patterns. These come with an acrylic case for self-finishing. She also has lots of new bookmarks, sayings, and a fun square canvas of nine hearts and a peace sign — all in tie-dye patterns. One of the tie-dye hearts is also available in a larger size. If you love Tate’s cookies, you can get her canvases of their bags in both regular and gluten-free. If you are looking for custom items, she has team bows and pacifiers.
Blueberry Point has a new Pucci-style key fob available in pink or green. Another of her new acrylic purse canvases has three colorful chicks, still with bits of shell, ready to step out wearing party hats. The company also has a new candy cane, available in four different colors, with sprinkles for the stripes. Danji has new travel candy canes, including several for cities, both in the US and elsewhere. Goodpoint has plenty of sayings with Scottish inspiration. The company also has a canvas of a shaggy Highland cow wearing a red scarf (and yes, they are that shaggy).
Eye Candy has added globe-trotting cats to their cat collection. The silhouettes are pictured in front of landmarks such as Big Ben or the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They are available as 4″ rounds or sized for passport covers or luggage tags. They also have a new quartet of Christmas houses, also available as pairs. VNG has a new Amanda Lawford canvas of four beach huts with a very New England feel. There are also several new sayings and four new canvases of sea life icons on blue ombre backgrounds.
Hilary Vermont is an artist for CBK. She has charming landscapes, including a charming southwestern pueblo. Another CBK artist, Kate Rhees, has a canvas of colorful bugs on a light background as well as colorful mushrooms on black. I also just love a Scott Church oval that has three red-hatted gnomes coming out of a red-capped mushroom house. New from JP is a stunning canvas of fuchsias with bright hummingbirds on a shaded background. Another great canvas for stash threads is a fish with a different pattern on each scale. NPJ’s offerings from Jenny Henry include coasters in two different color schemes.
On Point has lovely large canvases of several different gemstones on 13 mesh. LoveMhB has some fun patriotic designs. These include a canvas like the Stars & Stripes berry cake and striped red, white, and blue beach umbrellas that are available in three shapes. I also love her mod “adult beverage” canvas, available as coasters or pictures. Stitching with Stacey has three canvases for lovers of the Madeline books. The company also has coasters inspired by granny square crochet and a mermaid Pusheen-style cat.
The designers distributed by Chris Lewis have great new canvases. Robbyn’s Nest has several new hamsas; an especially lovely one is filled with the eye of a peacock in stunning colors. Dream House has a great new canvas of a sunflower quilt design, available in both 13 and 18 mesh. This is by licensed artist Carolyn Manning. Another of Carolyn’s designs has a slew of eight-pointed stars that would be a great stash-buster. Finally, she has a bold patterned log cabin quilt block square. New from Kristine Kingston is sports rounds for the Planet Earth key fobs and new sports belts, including two for fox hunting.
New from The Salty Stitcher is an arabesque ornament that’s a close-up of a peony. Also from this designer is a golfing Mrs. Claus, available on 13 and 18 mesh. Need a guide on what flowers not to eat in your garden? Try this company’s deadly flora canvas. You’ll find iris, foxglove, and four other flowers in a feminine design that belies the danger. Finally, the company has two new angel designs, one with a scroll and one with a book.
A new bunting canvas from Laura Love has six different safari animals. This would be so wonderful for a kid’s room. She also has a new wildflower seed packet and new rows of cookies with different themes, such as Fourth of July or Nautical. The newest dog-walking Santa from Ann Kaye is walking a well-behaved dachshund. A clever idea for a key fob is the camera film key fob from Saturnalia. Morgan Julia has four new cocktail canvases that are like simple line drawings and ready to embellish with stitches. Although I don’t know if it’s new, her canvas of gingerbread cookie dough rolled out and ready to be cut into cookies would be such a great canvas for a baker.
Accoutrement Designs has some adorable new needle minders. There are cookie plates for Christmas or St. Valentine’s Day, and a pair of otters. You’ll also find two enamel crowns, a Scottish thistle, and the Tudor rose. Morgan Julia has new needle threaders. They have a ring through the hole with an acrylic charm of one of her newest canvases.
