Stitch Style has added a new series of seven charming woodland animals, all with presents. Also in the set is a tree with packages under it. Another new canvas from the company is a bar tag that says “making spirits bright.” Rachel Barri has wonderful new gem inserts that will fit her leather boxes. Each canvas has a brooch with a large gem hanging down and a jeweled frame, all on a background in a lighter coordinating shade to match the gem. Each canvas is different, and all are beautiful.
Mopsy Design has a new ski mandala. The design, in quadrants, has boots, hats, and more in a design divided by four pairs of skis. She also has a new belt with a pattern that reminds me of the side of a speckled trout. While a lovely idea for fly fishers, it’s so elegant that anyone would love it. Love You More has adorable new Thanksgiving owls available singly in rounds or as a group. The company also has beautiful new florals as well as a new line of computer-printed canvases. Kate Dickerson has a set of four designer-inspired cowboy boots.
Colors of Praise has lots of inserts for self-finishing clutches (3×6) and new 5″ squares in a variety of styles that could be finished in so many self-finishing items. She also has new individual Greek letters, in bright geometric patterns. You could put three together in one frame to make a great gift. The company also has two lovely new coaster sets.
Penny MacLeod has two new canvases of sixteen small plants in patterned pots. Stitching with Stacy has new canvases inspired by granny squares crochet. Patricia Sone has an angel tree skirt. To go with it us a two-sided angel tree topper that comes with a stitch guide. She also has a charming new bunny, inspired by French printed fabrics. Jessica Tongel has new designs adapted from children’s book covers. New from The Collction’s artist Kate Rhees is a pattern of colorful mushrooms.
KCN has a blue-and-white Christmas series with singles and groups of Christmas icons. The company also has a Merry Christmas design spelled in nautical flags in Christmas colors. There is also a set of wine bottles with poison labels. A new backgammon board takes a football field as its inspiration. They have a set of ornaments inspired by lovely Chinese bowls, jars, and vases. There is a lovely canvas of three pagodas, all in holiday colors. These are also available individually.
Rachel Donley has a new series of travel trunks available as passport inserts or as 3-D trunk ornaments. She also has new inserts in rounds or rectangles inspired by Nantucket baskets. All of the have space for initials. Finally, she has new coffee cups with donuts on them for an iconic combination. Cheryl & Annie are coming out with a 3-D gingerbread house. They also have new stocking cuffs that come with the stocking. In their popular cookie-cutter series they have a surfboard that can be personalized with names or schools (including school colors).
NDLPT Designs is a new company with a series of tag canvases of Santa’s suit in designer colors. The belt buckles give you clues about the inspiration. WIP Stitch has expanded its collegiate Jeep collection of canvases and also has new state bird designs. Lauren Bloch has expanded the choices for her enchanted castle with new rounds for holidays. I love the Halloween one — a black castle with an orange sky. She also has expanded her ski hat collection with holiday designs. They come with a charted alphabet for personalization.
CanvasWorks has a 4-foot round rug on 12 mesh. It’s a beautiful geometric in shades of blue. Doolittle Stitchery has new holiday and life event barns in ornament-side rounds. Raymond Crawford has large-size cases made for sunglasses or iPhones. Kangaroo Paw has new patriotic stars and hats. They also have new sayings. Penny Linn has seasonal canvases that are similar to its city and state canvases. They also have canvases inspired by America Girls dolls.
Rachel Barri has added new colors to her 4″ and 5″ boxes. Designers have really embraced Rachel’s self-finishing clutch, introduced late last year. Several are now making canvases for them. Rachel has added three new colors to the clutches: pink, taupe, and navy. Rachel also has a new crochet bag with a round insert for needlepoint. It’s available with black or brown trim. The opening is 4 inches.
Self-finishing passport covers are also very popular. Many designers have added these canvases to their lines. Penny Linn has new wicker bags in several shapes and colors. These all have space for inserts (the company also has lots of those). Planet Earth has a new flask that comes with a leather surround with a 3″ round opening.
