Needle Delights is releasing five new charted canvas patterns, out this month. In the holiday series, there is a wedding square. There are also two new sets of Christmas rounds and a new inch project, this one in rainbow colors. Finally, there is a new design in the Color Delights series. Stitch One has added three new charted needlepoint designs toits line, all inspired by Arts & Crafts pottery. One is a vase with cattails. The other two are inspired by floral Arts & Crafts tiles.
Ann Kaye has a lovely new collection of five seashells. The canvases are ornament sized and are exclusive to Greystone Needlepoint in Pennsylvania. Susan Roberts has two new nutcrackers on 13 mesh. One has a bugle. The other, in royal purple, has a crown and scepter. A charming new entry in Sandra Gilmore’s interior series has a comfy chair by a fireplace with tea close at hand. Another is a chaming French dining room. Ashley Dillon has three new ornaments featuring Santa. These are in a less realistic style than her march canvases, available ffrom Susan Roberts.
In addition to the canvases with four doors on them, The Meredith Collection has monthly doors. Proclaiming “Hello Summer,” the June door has plenty of summer icons, including a pitcher of pink lemonade. Another great canvas is a VW bus topped with flower and a bee skep. Jean Smith has a stunning 12″ square of three hibiscus in white, pink, and red. Kate Dickerson has a new canvas inspired by the Kentucky Derby. One of her new minis is an arrow sign reading “NDLPT.”
Kelly Clark has added two new pumpkin minis to her series of silhouettes. These pumpkins hold a haunted house and a witch with cauldron. For babies, Needledeeva has a canvas with Baby in a vareity of patterns in patches. Alice Peterson has a summery canvas of four espadilles, each in a different print. Another canvas from the company is a Gayla Elliot canvas of a donkey at a fiesta. The company also has a Star of David canvas that is entwined with lovely blue flowers.
Judi & Co has an evil eye canvas sized for a purse. The large eye is on a canvas with an oange background. From Painted Pony’s artist Susan Nicoll is a gnome holding a pumpkin. His hat has a spider hanging from it. Another gnome in the series is dressed like Santa. A new artist for he company, Artly, has three designs of women in huge sunhats. These canvases are 6″ square. New from Rachel Donley is the trunk collection. Available in several sizes, the series is of an old-fashioned luggage trunk. One canvas even shows the packed inside of the trunk.
Painter’s Thread has new colors available, ivory and ebony. Search Press has a new book for Blackwork enthusiasts, it has 16 colorful projects, giving a modern look to this technique. Poke A Dot is a brand of organizer now being marketed for needlework. The dishwasher safe boxes come with dividers that you place to fit your supplies. The dividers can be set horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. They come in clear or black and extra dividers can be ordered.
